What is a PO spending limit?

AIMsi can be used to store customer purchase order numbers by which your customers can track purchases. Spending limits can be associated with these numbers and is most often used for buyers from schools and churches. These buyers are given one PO number to charge against throughout a semester or year. Assigning a spending limit to the PO# limits the amount the buyer can charge to the PO number. Using the PO spending limit gives you the ability to track this information for your customer. To accurately track what is charged against the PO number you must select and assign the PO number during a point of sale transaction. If the transaction exceeds the set spending limit, a warning displays to the employee so that they can inform the customer.
